Neuter ~ Spay

For the unwanted - the unloved.
I see little souls wearing fur, souls who bark and souls who purr. Born unwanted and unloved, I see all this from up above. I watch them suffer, I see them cry, I see them lost, I watch them die. I see unwanted, thousands born, when they die, nobody mourns. Castaways who will never see love. A few short months they starve and roam, or caged in shelters...nobody takes home. We cry.. We feel.. We love.. Our presence only known from God above. My pain and suffering came to an end, so don't cry for me, my friend.. It's the living ones that need you now. Please stop their abuse somehow.....

| Welcome to our website!

"Saving the life of one animal may not change the world but surely the world will change for that one animal"
Since moving to the Argolida region of Greece in 2004, my husband and I have been working very hard to do what we can to try to help alleviate the suffering of our local stray dog and cat population.
Those of you who have visited Greece will have seen the large numbers of stray/abandoned cats and dogs, many of them suffering from starvation, dehydration, disease, and the list goes on and on...
Young puppies and kittens are often taken from their mothers and dumped, left to die on roads, streets, rubbish bins etc. Sadly many don't survive; some are killed prior to being thrown out with household waste.
Unwanted 'pets' are frequently abandoned in the same way, left alone to fend for themselves, trying desperately to survive, again, sadly, many don't...
Many stray cats and dogs are regularly poisoned, so many have to endure a slow agonising death. We have lost count of the number of animals we have seen that have died as a result of this sick attempt to keep the number of strays to a minimum.
Please take the time to browse our website...
Read about the plight of the Greek strays...
Read our rescue stories and meet our rescued Greek furry family and the other lucky ones that now have forever homes here in Greece and abroad.
We will be regularly updating our website, adding pages, photos and rescue news. Our website is new so please visit us again later on for further updates.
Rescue diary page added Jan - 2012 - updated regularly.
